Lightly trafficked, but a section currently has a lot of gravel or crushed stone - be careful with a road bike!

The farm track is well-paved and offers the option of bypassing the center of Ennigerloh.

The side roads are easy to navigate. Unfortunately, I didn't stop again, but instead sped past. My own fault. I'll be back.

Here you can hike many kilometers along the canal. Often, but not always, there and back on one side.

The Catholic parish church of St. Regina in Hamm Rhynern, located on the ridge between the Lippe Valley and the Hellweg Valley, is considered one of the most interesting church buildings in the city of Hamm. Its history dates back to the 10th or even the 9th century. The church's exceptional location near various historic highways explains its considerable dimensions, with a nave height of 10 meters and a tower with a pyramidal Gothic roof, which was covered in copper in 1963 and rises to a height of 56 meters. Despite significant structural alterations in the 19th century, the current church, built of local sandstone, has impressively retained its original character as a Romanesque vaulted basilica with a transept, a rectangular choir, and a mighty west tower. The choir area is characterized by wall arcades supported by a sill. Exquisite stonemasonry adorns the entire building. The Romanesque baptismal font made of yellow sandstone from the early 13th century is probably the oldest piece. The most important piece of the church's furnishings is the Flemish carved altar in the choir, whose dimensions alone are impressive: with the wings open, it measures 2.60 m by 5.40 m, and the central shrine measures 2.60 m by 2.70 m. It comes from the workshops of the St. Luke's Guild in Antwerp. In addition to the impressive carved altar, the sacrament house, built from light sandstone in the tradition of comparable works in Westphalia at the end of the 15th century, is also worth mentioning. It is located on the north wall of the choir and now houses the Eucharist. https://www.hamm.de/tourismus/sehenswertes/sehenswuerdigkeiten/kirchen/pfarrkirche-st-regina
