Wonderful cycling path through nature.

The cycle path from Kersdorfer Schleuse to Biegenbrück is scheduled to reopen on June 23, 2025. It will then be a very beautiful route between the Spree and the Spree Canal, slightly wider than before and evenly paved!

As of May 2025, the road is under construction (accessible with gravel bikes). The asphalt section, which is actually not bad at all, is being resurfaced. In my opinion, more urgent work would be the renovation of the paved section or the path between Kersdorfer Schleuse and Berkenbrück, which has some really nasty roots. The prioritization is mysterious.
