The village church in Ringenwalde is a fieldstone building with a recessed rectangular choir, dating from the first half of the 13th century, in the middle of a churchyard enclosed by fieldstone walls.

Sources indicate that the rectangular west transept tower was only added at a later date (probably only in the late Gothic period in the 14th/15th century). It was rebuilt in 1830 and is as wide as the nave. In the upper part of the tower there are coupled pointed arched sound openings made of bricks on all sides. The tower has a gabled roof. The church did not suffer serious war damage. Only the roof had to be re-covered due to severe damage. The damage to the interior was more likely due to fungal infestation and general neglect. Emergency security work was carried out on the tower of the Ringenwald church in 2010. Up until now it has not been possible to renovate the church. At the bus turning loop directly in town there is a large memorial stone for Albrecht Daniel Thaer with a bronze relief from 1856. It is a 3 square meter Bohuslän granite stone from Sweden and weighs 7.9 tons. On the front there is a portrait of Thaer, on the back Thaer's signature and two dates ("1804 purchase of the Möglin manor" and "1806 foundation of the agricultural school").
