Under the motto "There's nothing good unless you do it!" since 1998, jazz musicians passionately committed to bringing joy to people with disabilities through the power of music have been meeting in Dresden. In Altleuben, a district of Dresden, a central location, a residential home for people with intellectual disabilities, is being brought to life for this purpose. Here, musicians and visitors meet to immerse themselves in the exciting world of Dixieland jazz. Renowned bands from the Dixieland scene ensured a great atmosphere at the open-air concert. The band Sunshine Brass from Thuringia kicked off the event at 3 p.m., playing on the street in direct contact with the enthusiastic audience. Following this, the Blue Wonder Jazz Band provided rousing sounds on the festival stage.
