Very nicely located shelter. Unfortunately a bit dirty due to inconsiderate users. We had to clean up first and take most of the leftovers with us the next day.

This is beautiful lake and a very peaceful spot. Stora Mettjärnen forms part of the drainage basin of the Gota River. It is surrounded by forest and by a number of other smaller lakes as well.

This is a nice spot in this tranquil forest to look out over Stora Mettjärnen. The forest looks enchanting, and it is just such a peaceful spot.

Flat rocks and a picnic area at the shore of lake Gäddevatten make this spot perfect for a break and a dip in the water. There are benches and a fire pit.

A dam connects the two shores at this narrow point of the lake. The interesting structure, with its ramp between four jetties, helps canoes and other small boats cross from Stora Stentjön to Syrsjön, or vice versa. It's also a great spot for a break with a view of the water.
