The descent towards Pyttbua provides excellent views across the Puttegga and Karitinden. These dramatic peaks are the highest in the Tafjordfjella range, at 1,999 metres (6,558 ft) and 1,983 metres (6,506 ft) respectively, while Puttegga is the highest in the whole Møre og Romsdal county. The Skjåk, Rauma and Fjord Municipalities all meet on the summit of Karitinden.
