A reminder of the mining heritage of Stoke on Trent, and how that has shaped the landscape. Worth a stop to understand the rich history of the area.

I like how Komoot asks 'Would you recommend this Highlight to others?'. I mean, yes, it's one to be ticked off the list I suppose but a 'recommendation' feels a little bit like sadistically inflicting pain on others, lol. On a serious note, just be prepared for a tech-y descent given the steepness, parked cars and oncoming traffic. Mercifully, I managed about three-quarters of free flow downhill before having to brake once and duck in behind a parked car to give way to a Mini; think I'd have hated it had it been more stuttered.
