Finikounda (Greek Φοινικούντα, also Finikounta, Foinikounta, older also Finikous Φοινικούς) is a Greek port and seaside resort in Messinia. Together with some surrounding settlements, it forms a local community in the Methoni district of the Pylos-Nestoras municipality. Under the old name Paralia Lachanadas Παραλία Λαχανάδας, the place was recognized as a rural community (kinotita) in 1929 and renamed in 1930.
