...the former Augustinian monastery church in Oberndorf am Neckar, in the district of Rottweil, Baden-Württemberg. - In 1264, a community of women settled here and joined the Augustinian Order. - The current monastery complex is the fourth structure on the site, following earlier buildings. - Built between 1772 and 1779. - The monastery was dissolved in 1806. - From 1811, it was used as an arms factory (taken over by the Mauser brothers in 1874). In 1972, the city of Oberndorf purchased the complex, which is now used as the town hall. - The restored monastery church now serves as a cultural and event center.
