Heavily used cycle path from the city to the Wörthersee. Definitely stop at Morle Eis for an ice cream.

A rather venomous place, but very worthwhile and interesting for all ages. Over 1,000 reptiles can be admired in an area of more than 4,000 square meters. Every hour, you have the opportunity to pet a boa constrictor, and for the bravest, you can even have one draped around your neck. A very nice and good alternative for a rainy day. We spent two hours there. Prices and opening hours can be found here: https://www.reptilienzoo.at/ueber-1000-reptilien-auf-mehr-als-4000m%c2%b2-2/

Here, you can admire a who's who of snakes. Diamondback rattlesnakes, king cobras (!), and even an inland taipan (the most venomous snake in the world) can be discovered here—wow! The elegant python, which you were allowed to hold and pet, was harmless in comparison. The heartbreaker, however, was the cute and extremely colorful chameleon! The sinister-looking piranhas, despite their glittering gold scales, couldn't win a flower crown in the ranking for most popular animal. They're fish, after all... Outdoors, there was still competition for the chameleon: an entire hutch of rabbits 🐇, which you even got to feed. The zoo is truly a top highlight and definitely worth a visit.
