The Historische Postalmhütte dates back to 1853. It has very beautiful and cozy guest rooms. The nice host couple Schmeisser treats you as a guest, not as a tourist. For us, there was a delicious and fluffy Kaiserschmarrn made from self-produced ingredients. We can really recommend this alpine inn. http://postalmhuette.at/

The Lienbach stream rises in the Postalm area and flows downhill into the Aubach, which then flows into the Lammer. Along the Postalm road, the stream accompanies the ascent to the Lienbach saddle, flowing through meadows, small forests, and rocky sections that characterize the alpine landscape. Thus, the Lienbach stream is a scenic companion for hikers and cyclists.

You should definitely visit the Auerhütte. Not only can you enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Waldsee, but the hostess and her family will delight you with their cheerfulness, smiles, delicious food, and, of course, cool drinks. Enjoy your time there 🍀🍻
