You can find a larger group of barrows in the Brunstorfer Forest on the way to Brunstorf from the junction of the L18. There is no time allocation for the barrows. From the Bronze Age onwards they can be found everywhere in Europe. Until the Middle Ages they were prepared for burials. The barrows near Brunstorf are clearly visible and are now wooded. They are also known as cone graves.
