Beautiful paved cycle path through the forest.

Hey everyone! - This is Gleuensee, not Fährkrug (somewhere else entirely). From the poorly maintained path and even from the short stretch of bike path, there are few views of this lake, which is really nothing special. It's almost impossible to get to it, only with difficulty, and you can't, or rather shouldn't, swim in it!

The information board tells us what we're allowed to think about it. Of course, I would never question this or the era back then. I do find it striking that the era then and now produce quite similar figures.

As a half-timbered building, it is already an impressive village church. Unfortunately, as is often the case, it is difficult to photograph due to large trees.

Former Carinhall gate

The simple straight was deliberately laid out as a long stretch with double rows of chestnut trees planted on both sides because it creates a certain stately impression. Just like the driveway to a castle. And Carinhall was definitely a pompous property, no matter what you might think of it.
