The broken tree is absolutely impressive and immediately noticeable. Despite its severe damage, it has sprouted at the top and thus seems to be still alive. You only see the hustle and bustle of tens of thousands of ants when you step a little closer. In one spot, you can see through the rotten main trunk!

In the olden days, three girls who were born as triplets lived in Libbesicke. They never felt like doing anything, were sullen and lazily dozed off all day long. Nobody could cheer her up. The parents were sad, ashamed of their girls and complained to everyone that they didn't know how to correct their bad daughters. One day the neighbor, the innkeeper, took the father of the three girls aside and told him that one daughter had climbed out of the skylight at night and was walking back and forth on the roof, but the second was walking first on the stacked beer bottles, then on the high picket fence and the third would have slipped through the keyholes into the houses and later scurried out again. He saw it with his own eyes on a full moon, a mistake is impossible. The father reported what he had heard to his unfortunate wife. They debated for a long time and came up with only one explanation: something must have gone wrong at the baptism. They had the three girls baptized again, and from that day on they became merry, hard-working, and lively as never before.

The Gasthof zum Grünen Baum is a good location for some hikes in the Uckermark. The rooms are functional, the food is delicious and the staff are extremely helpful

Hello my love, at the weekend (27.5.22) I visited the park and the hereditary burial. The park is - as often described - overgrown, which is what makes it so special. When the weather is warm and humid, the park offers something mystical. Nightingales accompany you on enchanted paths. Definitely recommendable!
