Castle-like hotel complex. The rooms are okay, let's see what the wellness and food offer. It's best to book half board. The hotel price includes some free wellness features; the private sauna and massage cost extra, but it was worth it. The dinner was great, the breakfast even better. I must have put on a nice face at the bike parking space in the garage, which is actually 250 CZK, and got a discount.

Saint John Nepomuk was a priest (Vicar General of the Archbishop) in Bohemia, who died a martyr in Prague in 1393. He was thrown into the Vltava from Prague's Charles Bridge by royal order and drowned. His statue can still be found on many bridges today. Far more rarely, as here, churches or chapels are dedicated to him. John Nepomuk is considered not only a popular "bridge saint" but also the patron of the seal of confession. In many depictions of him, he holds a cross in one hand, sometimes placing a finger to his lips with the other as a sign of silence (about what was heard in confession). The feast day of Saint John Nepomuk in the calendar of saints is on March 20th.

I like restaurants where local products can be consumed. In this case beer. I've had Kašpar, a half-dark twelve, and I can recommend it.
