Unfortunately, 2 of the 4 coats of arms on the bridge are now missing. An information board provides information about the reconstruction of the bridge in 2008 by the local Fichtelgebirge Association.

In autumn 2007, the Ascher local group of the Fichtelgebirge Association came up with the idea of building a wooden pedestrian bridge over the Mühlbach on the still existing stone foundations of the old bridge. The idea excited people on both sides of the border. The "Europe Bridge" or "Bridge of Friendship" was opened in summer 2008. In the middle of the bridge, which lies exactly on the border between Germany and the Czech Republic, there is a stylized gate through which you can cross to your neighbor. The relief of a friendly and reconciling handshake was placed on both sides of the bridge gate. A gesture towards a future of togetherness and mutual respect.

An impressive creation by an unknown artist. The work is united with the tree, winding around the trunk. The snakes as headdresses are well made and also a little spooky.

The seating area on the edge of the village of Raitschin invites you to linger. From here you have a wonderful view towards Regnitzlosau and Hof. When visibility is good you can see as far as the Döbraberg.

This is the head of Medusa, if you cut off a snake's head, two will grow back. She wakes up when you look into her eyes. That's the myth.

Is a small parking lot on the road from Rehau to Neuhausen. Ideal for walking and short hikes. You can walk clockwise or counterclockwise and you will pass the so-called Europe Bridge to the Czech Republic.
