Brand new, brand new, the fitness trail in Lachendorf. Just opened in August. At first glance, the equipment appears to be very high quality.

The water tower in Celle was built in 1900 and was a central element of the city's water supply. At approximately 32 meters high, it served for many decades to maintain the necessary water pressure in the city's pipeline network. The tower's construction was part of comprehensive modernization measures following severe cholera and typhus epidemics in the 1890s. Together with the newly constructed waterworks in Garßen, it was intended to ensure the population's supply of hygienically safe drinking water. In 2007, the tower was decommissioned because the modern water supply system no longer required it. Today, it is primarily used as a radio antenna site. Its future use or possible demolition has been discussed several times in recent years, but a decision has yet to be made.

“Downstairs” is pretty nice. The fence gate is unlocked, so it's worth going around it.
