Nice route along the lake, the Biergarten of the brewery by the lake is also highly recommended for a Radler break (in every sense of the word).

Better a small shelter than none at all, unfortunately nothing compared to the old Sodix Hut, for those who still knew it.

The Sodixhütte is not located on the Litermont, but on the Galgenberg in Schmelz-Hüttersdorf. One could say it is at the foot of the Litermont.

I couldn't find the other two breweries; signs were missing here and there. The Saar ferry at the Saar Loop was fantastic. High praise. I was initially disappointed. It was just a main road all the way to Merzig. From Merzig, there was a bike path and back, and back, and back. The tour was over too quickly for 50 km in 3 hours.
