The sculpture "La Grande Ourse et la Petite Ourse" ("The Big Dipper and the Little Dipper") is by Louis Noël. It was installed in December 2003 at the roundabout with the RN 921 national road and rue de la Station in Seilles, near the Andenne train station. This all-bronze sculpture is three meters tall and weighs 1.5 tons. Louis Noël is also the artist who created the statue of the child and his bear, which has been on display since 2006 next to the kiosk on Place des Tilleuls in Andenne. Source: andennetourisme.be

As part of the Septennale 2019, the city of Huy commissioned a sculpture that was supposed to radiate hope. This 4-metre-high corten steel sculpture by the French artist Kalbut, who lives in Jehay, is the perfect answer to that.

Impressive church, and not only because of "Li Rondia", the round stained glass window at the back, one of "The Four Wonders of Huy" Among other things, the large stained glass window behind the altar and the ceiling are at least as worthwhile. At the moment, there is an exhibition at the back of the church of a series of statues that together represent a Way of the Cross. They were commissioned by a priest who has since died in a car accident.

The Bethlehem Portal is an important example of Gothic art in this region. It was classified in its entirety in 1933 and was also included in the list of major heritage sites in Wallonia in 1993. However, its history remains a mystery. No source references can be found for the portal before the 15th century. The sculpted tympanum from the 14th century - the only one in the Meuse region that has been completely preserved - is integrated into a separate building of the collegiate church that has undergone several transformations. The scenes sculpted in the central tympanum - the birth of Christ, the Annunciation to the Shepherds, the Adoration of the Magi and the Massacre of the Innocents - are the basis for the name Bethlehem that the inhabitants of Huy have given to the portal since the 19th century. The town hall was built when Huy was part of the Prince-Bishopric of Liège. There was quite a bit of fuss about the construction: for example, in 1768 the city council wrote a letter of complaint to Prince-Bishop d'Oultremont, in which they described La Maison du Coq, the 14th century building where the city magistrates met at the time, as a dilapidated hovel. The construction of the current town hall started in 1765, but was not completed until 1787. There was also quite a bit of commotion about the bell tower on top of the roof above the central hall. After all, it was not provided, but the residents could not swallow that: until the belfry at the Franciscan monastery in 1739, Huy had a carillon... and for the sake of prestige, a carillon certainly had to be installed in the town hall again. Of the 37 bells, 22 were transferred from the old belfry and 15 were purchased new. Source: Wikipedia
