Something's been mixed up here. The bronze sculpture "The Three Generations" is located about 100 meters further west of here. The hiking highlight https://www.komoot.com/de-de/highlight/6336126 already exists there. At the entrance to the pedestrian zone, however, there are two stone pillars with different motifs flanking the path on either side.

The memorial was placed next to the town hall at the beginning of the pedestrian zone and was unveiled on November 9, 1989. The small, artificial stream runs through the middle of the city and beneath the pedestrian zone. From its source, the confluence of the Rodau and Wiedau streams, to its confluence with the Wümme, it measures 700 meters. The Stadtstreek (City Tree) was created artificially in 1566: construction debris from a major fire was dumped into the Alt-Wiedau stream, creating a new watercourse that was later expanded into a small canal through the center of the city. It is particularly visible between the Old Pharmacy and the two city warehouses. At the city warehouse, which houses a restaurant, steps lead down to the stream. Here you can take a break and cool your feet. There are also several benches along the stream for a rest. The bridge, which leads through the pedestrian zone over the Stadtstreek, is decorated with geraniums every May. It is therefore also known as the "Geranium Bridge." https://www.nordwaerts.de/sehenswuerdigkeiten-museen/poi/stadtstreek-rotenburg-wuemme-100210888/

The work "Paar-oh-die" consists of three parts: "Paar-oh-die" fountain (total height approx. 430 cm, basin diameter approx. 800 cm), with the woman on the sphere and the man in front of it. Her heart is not in the right place, but on the man's head. The two are not looking directly at each other; the man winks at the woman with one eye. A golden shoe forms a connection between the two. "Paar-oh-die" as a model table in the preliminary design made of bronze Parody of the "Paar-oh-die" bronze: Two animals wrestling with each other, parodying the relationship between man and woman. The model table and the parody are located approximately 80 m behind the kiosk. On October 21, 1989, the city of Rotenburg inaugurated the fountain sculpture "Paar-oh-die" on the Neuer Markt, causing heated debate. Many found the sculpture too incomprehensible, while others saw it as a piece of modernism in Rotenburg. The artist Jürgen Goertz did not comment on his work. He left it up to the public to consider it. Goertz's works play with language and materials. The artist parodies "parody" onomatopoeically to "pair-oh-the." He artistically reworks the word "pair" and the exclamation "oh the" (oh, the) https://www.nordwaerts.de/sehenswuerdigkeiten-museen/poi/kunstwerk-und-brunnen-paar-oh-die-100211953/

As part of the 23rd Rotenburg Potato Market, on October 4, 2008, this sculpture, representing the market's mascot, was unveiled on one of the sandstone pedestals of the Geranium Bridge. It was created by the sculptor Erich Gerer based on a design by Holger Roselieb, the creator of Knolli. The idea had existed since 1999, but was only realized in 2008 through the initiative of the international Rotenburg regulars' table of the "Mistböcke/-bienen" (a local group) and numerous donations from the city's residents. Everyone who visits the "Bronze Knolli" can take home a bit of luck if they rub the sculpture's nose. https://www.rotenburg-wuemme.de/city_info/display/dokument/show.cfm?region_id=165&id=346434
