Beautiful graffiti art can be found everywhere. It's worth taking a look around every corner. Some are a bit hidden.

Unique Textile Artworks in St. Peter's Church By Tove Engelhardt Mathiassen Church textiles are often somewhat neglected; not so in St. Peter's Church, where they are cared for and cherished. The antependium, choir curtain, and green shawl in the colors of hope and growth were woven in the workshop of Kirsten and John Becker in Søllerød. The artist couple ran the workshop together from 1946 to 1986 and created textile art for churches throughout Denmark. Antependium means altar curtain in Latin, and Becker's choir curtain and antependium were delivered to the church at the end of September 1978, more precisely on September 28 and 29, and the shawl was probably delivered around the same time.

The adults can relax on the benches or admire the art, while the kids find something to play and romp around with (mini trampoline, spinning top).

Saint Michael's Church, together with the church barn, is one of the oldest buildings in Slagelse. There has been a church on this site since around 1080, when Roskilde bishop Svend Normand founded a Romanesque stone church dedicated to Archangel Michael. However, the old church was completely demolished and replaced by the current church building from around 1333. The tower was built in the 1400s and underwent a major restoration in 1873-1876. The former church barn from around 1500 was converted into a Latin school in 1616. https://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sankt_Mikkels_Kirke
