Tømmerby Village Church in Thy was built between 1130 and 1140 and is particularly known for its unique location on the Selbjerg Vejle and for its granite carvings: Reliefs and faces on the exterior of the apse, and a tympanum and stele in the vestibule. The choir and nave are built in the Romanesque style. The vestibule and tower were later added in the Late Gothic style. The church's Romanesque chancel arch has been preserved. The original altarpiece consists of a granite slab on four column legs. The slab is carved into a stone. In the center of the altar table is a so-called saint's grave, which was previously covered with a blue stone slab. The shrine grave contained a lead capsule containing relics of the church's saint (St. Botulf). The altarpiece, which formerly stood on the old altar, dates from around 1600, with paintings and staff from 1736. The baptismal font is also original. On the base is a motif from Aesop's fable about the stork and the fox. The pulpit dates from around 1600. In the tower room is a Romanesque stele from around 1200. The stone, which could be the gable stone of a larger gravestone, bears the image of a face and an upright arm, and according to the Latin inscription, "the right arm of God." In the porch stands another peculiar stone. Some believe it is a gravestone, others a phallus. Some attribute the stones and many features of Tømmerby Church to Celtic origins. Next to the church is St. Budolfi's Spring. https://www.visitnordvestkysten.de/nordvestkysten/planen/tommerby-kirche-gdk601450

Bulbjerg is a 47 m high limestone knot that forms a prominent protrusion on the coast from Hanherred towards Jammerbugt. The knot is the northernmost part of Bulbjerg Island, which is just one of many islands in the sea that covered Hanherred in the Stone Age. The core of Bulbjerg Island consists of limestone that was formed in the then sea about 60 million years ago. During the last ice age, the limestone was covered by a layer of clay and gravel up to 20 m thick. These layers were later blown over by drifting sand. In the sea, about 70 m north of Bulbjerg, you can clearly see the remains of Skarreklit, a beach block that was 16 m high. Skarreklit was originally connected to Bulbjerg, but over time the limestone in between was washed away by the sea. Skarreklit broke up during a storm in 1978. The sea continues to eat away at Bulbjerg and therefore the entire north side towards the sea is shaped like a steep slope. Every year several landslides occur and every year larger parts fall into the sea. Staying on the beach below the slope should therefore be done with great caution. Bulbjerg is Denmark's only "bird cliff". Up to 500 pairs of kittiwakes, a North Atlantic species of gull, breed here. The rare northern fulmar, which belongs to the albatross family, also breeds on Bulbjerg, but not in such large numbers. There is a road leading to the very top of the cliff, where there is a parking lot and a toilet. In the former observation bunker there is a small exhibition with information about the geology, the bird cliff, the occupation period and the cultural history of Bulbjerg. https://nordlandscape.de/bulbjerg/
