The view is not that spectacular. You mainly look at the city. It's also annoying that there is a lot of smog, which gives the photos a hazy appearance. Remarkable is that you have an artificial path at the bottom. The higher you get, the more difficult and natural the path becomes. As is classic, the descent is the most tiring part.

Bektashi shrine on the plateau of Mali i Krujës, dedicated to Sari Salltiku, a wandering 13th-century dervish revered as a saint in Albania. According to tradition, he resided in the cave next to the current temple, where he retreated for prayer and meditation. The complex, at 1,150 m, forms the spiritual endpoint of the climb above Krujë, with open views over the valleys.

The highlight is not on the geographical summit of Mali i Krujës, but on the plateau. The mountain massif on which the Sarisalltik temple is located. The plateau around 1,150 m forms the natural summit zone of Mali i Krujës, with open views over the valley and the city of Krujë.

This historic path was used for centuries by pilgrims on their way to the sacred Sari Salltik cave. Expect a strenuous but rewarding climb over rocky singletracks and old stone steps. Viewpoint above the old bazaar of Kruja, with sightlines over the city, the mountain slopes, and the castle plateau. The hotel itself is not a sight; it is about the panoramic point along the route to the castle, where you see the terraces and the roof volume as a recognizable landmark. The hotel also forms a quick connection between the current center and the Bazaar.
