A beautiful stretch of the E6 road north of Alta. Lots of water in the vast meadows and plenty of reindeer roaming around.

I recommend the Strand Camping site a few meters away, right next to River Camping. It's a bit more spacious and the owners are very friendly. You can walk through the bush down to the river.

At the beginning of May, your feet will get wet! The snow is still there, but it is no longer stable. The thaw can make things a wet affair.
