The view from the country road is truly quite modest due to the trees. The lake is also quite far away from the spot photographed. It's not even worth stopping for that. Down at the lock, masses of reeds block the view.

This swimming spot, in a completely idyllic location, is sufficiently sunny, but the access has apparently become somewhat narrow over the years due to overgrown reeds. But that doesn't matter, because it's easy to get into the water. The lake bottom is nice and firm, and it gradually gets deeper. A jetty is really unnecessary. Of course, this is also a beautiful vantage point and rest area. The bench at the top of the embankment or meadow is perfect for a break.

A wonderful bathing spot with a jetty and a comfortable, shallow entry from the shore. Clean water, firm sandy bottom, excellent swimming conditions. Plus, a magnificent view of Lake Mellensee. The whole experience is rounded out by seating, even covered. Several boats are moored nearby, further enhancing the idyllic atmosphere. - A top-class bathing spot in northern Brandenburg! It's a bit difficult to reach, but actually no problem by bike. There's a somewhat steep slope down, which you have to climb back up again.
