Saw a beaver, but only on the way back and unfortunately didn't manage to get a photo. You have to walk very attentively and listen to nature, and a bit of luck probably belongs to it too.

Several foresters once lived with their families in this forestry office, including foresters Lewerenz and Witte. They lived with their families in harmony with nature, in the middle of their work area. They were responsible for the care and maintenance of the forest and put a stop to poachers. They employed around 7 people. Family life took place here. The children were born here and went to school in Mönkebude. The forestry office existed until 1945, before it burned down. There is nothing left to see.
