It's not exactly pretty, the new bridge… but of course helpful, and good that it exists at all

Construction of the new bridge began in November 2025.

Small shortcut and not so boring. Walk carefully ☺️

I was on the road in January 2023, with beautiful weather. What was fun was that I sometimes ran back and forth through the forest. The cracking of the branches, the chirping of the birds and finally the soft step through the forest on the moss made this round an experience. My sadness was at least temporarily overlaid by good feelings. So definitely recommended.

I started from the Schönklinik Bad Bramstedt in December 2022 and ended up there again. Unfortunately I ended Komoot before arrival instead of finishing the break 🙈. That in advance. Otherwise, this is a nice loop that - if the second bridge is restored in 2023 as announced - could be reduced by half the km. The entire circuit could also be cycled. But then I recommend staying on the main path.
