The official trail (Franz Trail) will be open from mid-June 2024 👌🏼 We have just (April 2024) been superbly prepared by many hard-working helpers, thank you very much for that 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

@ysewq: True, in 2020 I was stopped by a security patrol with a dog and expelled from the area! I was lucky! Otherwise, it can be expensive! It's a shame, but it was to be expected. It has always been a training area, American sovereign territory and therefore already forbidden to the public before.

A long crisp climb and especially when it's muddy. Of course, I recommend driving in a rounder way, slightly rocky with a lot of speed AND is another official trail of the Schönbuch. I highly recommend it.

Really cool. A lot of fun for advanced beginners. There was some mud despite two days of drought; it could get tricky if, for example, you have not practiced driving in the snow (driven at the end of May 2021 in good weather).
