A flowy singletrack winds harmoniously through the forest, providing pure riding pleasure with gentle curves, small bumps, and a natural rhythm. The consistent surface and the easy-to-ride line make it particularly varied without being technically demanding. Ideal for picking up speed, feeling the flow, and enjoying the trail with a big grin.

The Elsbeere Singletrail is a moderately difficult mountain bike trail near Michelbach, Lower Austria. At just under 130 meters of elevation gain, you'll find tight curves, small banked sections, and, if you look closely, one or two neat features—like a jump over a tree stump—to spice up your descent. The ascent is via the asphalt road to the Elsbeere organic farm. The road is consistently steep, and with an organic bike, the climb is just long enough to warm up to the trailhead. Especially in the warm summer months, it's advantageous that most of the climb can be done in the shade of the trees. The first few meters of the trail lead across a field to the edge of the forest, where the actual trail begins. There are two alternatives in the lower section; the turnoff is easy to miss (it happened to me). All in all, a nice trail for a few laps. Thanks to the MTB Initiative St. Pölten for trail construction and maintenance, and to the landowners for tolerating the mountain bikers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEe2sQsOXcw

A really beautiful part of this route, but you should be careful in the autumn when the deeply dug path is full of leaves and you can easily miss branches and stones. And you don't want to have a technical breakdown up there.

Technically demanding trail from Weissenbach's local mountain down into the valley. Because of the tight hairpin bends, clean transfers are a must, otherwise you have to dismount. Also otherwise very narrow and rooty path in not steep terrain.

Beautiful, relatively easy single trail that is still fun

Cool, long downhill that starts shortly after the observatory and leads down to Michelbach Markt. The sometimes steeper hiking trail is a bit overgrown. Roots and stones alternate here, pastures are also crossed. Beware of hikers, in places it is difficult to evade the narrow path! In the summer with shorts, the beginning is especially a scratchy affair because of the many blackberries.
