Restaurant Seegrube at 1,905 m, Innsbruck Restaurant Seegrube is located above the rooftops of Innsbruck. Open year-round, our experienced team will spoil you with traditional homemade dishes in a cozy atmosphere. In addition to Tyrolean delicacies and our classic Seegrube breakfast, the cozy sun terrace with its breathtaking mountain panorama invites you to linger. A special experience awaits those who wish to celebrate privately with a unique view of Innsbruck. In addition to the restaurant, our seminar room also offers ample space for festivities and seminars. The upper part of the Hungerburg Trail is my favorite section in the area. Especially because of the short, drop-in, steep sections with a few rocks and other debris. After all, you want that expensive suspension to actually have something to work with. 😁 About halfway up, it merges into the Arzler Alm Trail. For the penultimate section, 90% of people, including me, prefer to take the Stadtwald Trail for a bit. To do this, you have to climb a few meters along the forest road. You can easily do the uphill two or three times if you're in good shape (i.e., if you're still pedaling). It's better to skip the very last section and go back uphill from there, only to then go all the way to the end.

The trail entrance is pretty easy to miss. Nice S1 trail with one or two S2 sections.

The uppermost section up to the Erlerweg is not suitable for absolute beginners, as it contains quite steep sections and tight bends as well as ledges and wooden passages. The lower section from Erlerweg is more flowy and better suited for absolute beginners who feel quite confident on the MTB. It has some bigger bumps (good for jumping for experienced riders) that require some technical riding skills, but no hairpin bends that are too tight.
