Already in Reichental, the climb begins at a 10% gradient. The first part of the road is quite poor, especially downhill, but improvements seem to be made annually. The last 4 to 5 kilometers are significantly more pleasant, as the gradient becomes flatter and you can enjoy the beautiful view. The Schwarzmiss Pass is located at 933 meters.

However, in the evenings and on weekends and public holidays there are many motorized racers on the road who endanger others and themselves with their high spirits - unfortunately a widespread problem here. I would therefore recommend the morning hours - preferably on weekdays. Uphill, this is THE climb to Kaltenbronn that you can torture yourself on
