From the romantic moated castle it is only a jump into the unique nature reserve at the Hallwilersee. Back in the castle rooms, the exhibition tells the story of the life of a noble Aargau family and their subjects in the Seetal. The Lindenberg, a paradise for easy bike and bicycle tours. The Lindenberg does not take its name from a tree. No, "lind" means "soft" (soft-boiled) in the Freiamt dialect. The mountain has many springs. After rainy days it is wet for a long time in many places. In various places the earth is always slightly in motion and slides down the valley, e.g. Gitztobel, Chüeweidtobel and Wissenbach-"Tobel". In the Gitzitobel, a wide road that I used to drive 25 years ago has completely slipped down.
