The highest elevation of the Komio Nature Reserve is a kind of ridge. There you will find decent views through the trees and a bench with a funny wooden sculpture of an exhausted man.

May 18, 2025, Konianvuori Giant's Kettle

A small quiet attraction in the Konianvuori Nature Reserve in Vihti commune. The speciality here is a giant’s kettle (hiidenkirnu in Finnish), a glacial-developed landform. A fairly steep trail takes up to the giant’s kettle and further to the top of the Konianvuori hill with a nice view towards the adjacent Moksjärvi lake. To reach Konianvuori, drive to the parking lot at Moksinranta beach and then walk about a kilometre to the trailhead (driving the road is not permitted). The nature reserve may also be reached from south, but again driving the last access road is forbidden (about one kilometre distance), and finding a suitable parking spot there can be challenging. Cycling within the nature reserve is forbidden (although marks on the trail show some people have cycled there).
