Descent from Riber Castle to Cromford Meadows

Highlight (Segment) • Forest

Super fun, fast and flowy descent out onto the fields. Mega views down into Cromford Meadows. The track is wide, some embedded rock. Watch out for the sheep!

Kelly's Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

My favourite trail in Black Rocks, not JUST because it's named after myself but because it was named after me for a reason.

Aiken dug this one out 2 winters ago and it's riding so sweet right now! It's got all the fun features collected into a fast and flowing single track. It's not too technical, some features you can attempt or safely avoid.

No mandatory jumps, all rollable and a fun little rocky bridge section. There are a couple of drops but super mellow. I'd give it two chillis🌶️🌶️ and 4 party poppers 🎉🎉🎉🎉 because I love it.

If theres been a decent amount of rain I'll warn you now, the drainage isn't dailed so there will be some mega puddles.

Brackley Gate Woods

Highlight • Trail

Great place to walk the dogs and for them to explore, can sometimes get busy with mountain bikes at the weekend but they are generally respectful....the woods back onto Breadsall Priory golf course where there is a footpath across to the road.

Go easy on a gravel bike, in the dark, when you don't know the trails!

'Private land' signage all around but there are paths all over and nobody taking much notice of the warnings - least of all the BMX riders pelting down the hillside.

"The Chevin" including Jacksons Lane this is a mile and a half of downhill action, past the Golf Course and getting steeper all the time

The reward for all that climbing!

"Technical climb" = technical carry. Don't bother trying to get up this on anything but a mountain goat.

But don't bother going up it unless you like pushing
