There used to be the Thorwalder Gratweg, a ridge path that ran directly along the edge of the cliff. With over 2,500 steps and ladders, it was one of the most spectacular trails in Saxon Switzerland. Important: This path was officially closed in 1981 for nature conservation reasons. Today, it is largely overgrown or blocked by deadwood. Entering the path is considered an offense.

Currently flooded, making the path very difficult to navigate through the undergrowth, or even impossible. Nevertheless, a very beautiful section. With fresh beaver tracks and a dipper.
