It is around 300 meters long, a hundred meters wide and a maximum of seven meters deep. The lake is fed by the Rechnitzbach, which rises near Geschreibenstein. The first artificial lake in Burgenland was built between 1962 and 1964 and is located in the quiet and picturesque Faludital. He is approx. 300 m long, 100 m wide and a maximum of 7 m deep. The bathing lake is fed by springs on the southern slope of the Gewrittenstein and has excellent water quality. The entire area is over 5 hectares in size, so that even with many bathers there is never a crowd. In the bathing lake buffet with a seating terrace on the south bank and at the snack bar on the north bank, guests are spoiled with cool drinks, ice cream specialties and culinary delights right on the water. The youngsters cavort around the water slide, on the sun island, on the diving board (jump heights of 3 and 5 meters) and on the large swing world. Pedal boats, a children's playground, a skate park, a table tennis table and a beach volleyball court are also available for sporting activities. There is also a camping site for tents, caravans and mobile homes directly at the lake.
