This section can normally be ridden in either direction. With a mountain bike, it's no problem at all, and not particularly difficult either. Perhaps you should take a riding technique course and learn the basics of mountain biking. For your own safety and more fun.

A very nice switchback trail. It's completely manageable with a slightly advanced riding technique. It's definitely a lot of fun. 💪😎 Currently completely clear. 😉

Very varied trail. Not that common in the Harz.

The trail is narrow, slanted, overgrown, and three trees are lying across it. The slope is so steep in places that you have to go through all the nettles and blackberry bushes with your left arm. NOT suitable for beginners: turning back is not an option when you are in the middle of it. If you fall, it goes steeply down into the thicket on the side, and you can't get back on the trail. Hikers are coming towards you, you can hardly pass each other. And towards the end it is quite steeply downhill for a short time. This is not a flow trail. In my opinion, it is not a suitable MTB trail either. Do yourself and the adventurous hikers who might be there a favor, go somewhere else.
