Spitzberg Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Beautiful MTB trail on Paulsdorf Spitzberg.
As an entry choose the inconspicuous path on the left of the boundary stones, not at the edge of the field. Keep left at the next fork. Straight on, it goes up to the summit (Bike & Hike tip), but makes no sense with the bike.
On the other side of the Spitzberg again arrived at the edge of the forest (nice rest stop with bench) now follow the re-exposed trail right before the penultimate tree. This was blocked for years by a fallen tree and now overgrown.
Now biking on this section should be fun again.

Here are a few small trails, small, nicely built kickers & drops and an adventurous launch pad. Nice location that has been around forever and hopefully will remain for many years to come

With the right riding technique and a good bike, it's a lot of fun to blast down this sometimes steep, albeit short, section. 🤘🏼

The pump track facility at Lake Olbersdorf will be closed for an expected three months starting April 8, 2025. The reason for the closure is necessary repair work on the green areas surrounding the track. Damaged green areas will be restored and erosion protection will be improved. The goal is to permanently ensure the attractiveness and safety of the facility.

The descent isn't bad at all. Slightly rocky, it's fun in the dry, but becomes a real challenge in the wet.
