You can cycle through the gate on the side. There are some dogs behind the fence by the house. They bark quite loudly, so don't be alarmed.

from Playa del Ingeles Sea-side beach Freemotion point to Embalse de Chira a wonderful tour with slight flaws in the route. Because the first kilometers go over asphalt. But then you will be rewarded if you turn left and drive along the route and through the forest. Or right over the ridge to 1300m above the reservoir it is a really nice tour you can also make a round trip out of it. There is also the possibility to drive to the summit at 1400m altitude. I was unlucky the road was closed, because of construction therefore no round trip driven, but the same way back again.

A wonderful view. You can look from there, not only to Maspalomas but also to Arguineguí and Porto Rico.
