It is worth taking the route around the lake. Beautiful, picturesque and, above all, passable without any problems.

Zduński Single Track. It stretches along the entire length of the western shore of Lake Zduńskie. We start flat and hard. Then the ground starts to slouch and we have up and down, up and down up and down, climbing and descending. We go through makeshift footbridges placed on streams, and fallen trees do not make it easier to drive. The end of the route is almost sand, which can make you long for even, smooth asphalt. The route is 100% worth the trouble.

It is one of my favorite places to practice any sports activity. The terrain is hilly, so it's good for cardio training. Wide gravel paths encourage walking, running, horse riding and cycling. Narrow, winding and less accessible paths are used by amateurs of mountain biking, and the asphalt section of the Wędkowy - Leśniczówka road / especially from the side of the village of Wędkowy / by roller skaters.

For diverse outdoor activities, Lake Wędkowy offers hilly terrain suitable for cardio, with wide gravel paths for walking, running, horse riding, and cycling, plus narrower trails for mountain biking. The Scenic trail section along Lake Przywidz provides spectacular views and is great for mountain and trekking bikes on its gravel surface.
Yes, Przywidz Lake is known for its picturesque surroundings and a passable route around its perimeter, making it suitable for families. Additionally, Jezioro Małe Mierzeszyńskie has developed recreational infrastructure including a playground, picnic tables, and shelters, with free kayak and water bike rentals often available in summer.
Jezioro Sobowidzkie holds significant historical value. On a peninsula of this lake, the ruins of a defensive castle built by the Teutonic Knights in 1309 can be found, including Gothic cellars, moats, and a scarp wall. These ruins were listed in the register of monuments in 1996.
The region is characterized by forested landscapes and tranquil water bodies. Around Jezioro Bronisława, the surrounding forests are rich in forest undergrowth and wildlife, including rare bird species like cormorants and lapwings. Jezioro Aleksandra, located in Drzewina, is part of the European Natura 2000 network as a special habitat protection area called "Zielenina," highlighting its ecological value.
Yes, both Jezioro Małe Mierzeszyńskie and Jezioro Bronisława are recognized as excellent spots for angling. Jezioro Bronisława, being a flow-through lake in a forested area, is particularly attractive to fishermen.
There are several cycling options. A disused railway line near Jezioro Sobowidzkie now serves as a cycling path connecting to Pszczółki. For more structured routes, you can explore options like the "Żuławka–Straszyn Bike Path" or the "Bike loop from Trąbki Małe" which are part of the Cycling around gmina Trąbki Wielkie guide. For mountain biking, the challenging Zduński Single Track runs along Lake Zduńskie.
Jezioro Małe Mierzeszyńskie offers unique recreational facilities including two floating piers, four shelters, picnic tables, benches, and bicycle racks. During the summer, visitors can rent kayaks, water bikes, and fishing boats, often free of charge. While not a natural lake, the Postołowo Golf Club features a significant 7-hectare water body integrated into its championship golf course, offering a unique recreational experience for golf enthusiasts.
The summer months are ideal for visiting, especially for water-based activities at Jezioro Małe Mierzeszyńskie where kayaks and water bikes are available. The region's forested landscapes and tranquil waters are enjoyable throughout the warmer seasons for hiking, cycling, and relaxation.
Yes, the Scenic trail section along Lake Przywidz offers spectacular views of the lake below from its steep slopes. The Straszyn Hydroelectric Power Plant also provides picturesque views and is part of the Radunia Hydropower Route.
You can find various running trails in the area. For example, the "Jezioro Przywidzkie loop from Pomlewo" is a moderate option, while the "Hill on Katarynki loop from Cząstkowo" offers a more difficult challenge. These and other routes are detailed in the Running Trails around gmina Trąbki Wielkie guide.
While specific public transport routes to individual lakes are not detailed, the Gmina Trąbki Wielkie area is generally accessible. For detailed information on local transport options, it is advisable to check the official Gmina Trąbki Wielkie tourism website for the most up-to-date schedules and routes.
The village of Sobowidz, being the largest in the gmina and close to Jezioro Sobowidzkie, is a good starting point for finding accommodation. Mierzeszyn, near Jezioro Małe Mierzeszyńskie, also offers options. It is recommended to check local listings for guesthouses or hotels in these villages.
The trails offer a range of difficulties. For instance, Lake Wędkowy has wide gravel paths suitable for various activities and narrow paths for more advanced mountain biking. The Zduński Single Track is noted for being challenging with its ups and downs, footbridges, and sandy sections.
