Clark Lake South, with itβs beautiful teal-green water, is more dependable as a late-season water source than Clark Lake North, which normally dries up by the end of September.

There are a number of campsites within the preceding 2-3 miles, but my recommendation hereβ¦ PUSH. This site offers stunning views down to Henryβs Lake, over which the sunset and sunrise are immaculate! Make sure to pack extra water though- during dryer seasons, this site in in the middle of a 17 mile water carry! Though it is worth every ounce of extra weight to witness the amazing colors of the sky at dawn and dusk!

Scenic and teaming with wildlife Harriman State Park's Silver lake is a great place to ride on your way to/from Yellowstone. Or, you could stay for a while and avoid the crowds of the more famous neighbor while still have an incredible outdoor experience.

Moose Lake is secluded in every sense of the word. Located in the middle of Grassy Lake Road on the outskirts of Grand Tetons & Yellowstone National Parks this area sees a sliver of the visitors that the two parks do. Dispersed campsites are available nearby, on a first come first served basis, if you fancy an overnight excursion.
