Very dusty in front and lots of ash from the fireplace. But easy to get to.

In August 2024 it was no longer that well maintained, plus there was a wasp's nest hanging in it, so I decided against staying there overnight. But it was still accessible, there is a table and benches and space for 2 people on the floor

Overnight hut for hikers - I've now included cycling and stayed here overnight. Very cute, quite large hut with an outside toilet and water connection, electricity and even a hotplate. There is a donation box for the upkeep of the hut

It has a good water source. Garbage bin and a dry toilet. During high season it can be overcrowded by campervans taking over the spot completely.

Åsjön shelter is one of my favorite shelters in the area. It has a beautiful view over the lake. A good fireplace and great surrounding nature.

Good shelter. Acess to water (tho it’s not the cleanest or best tasting water filter is recommended) decent fireplace. A pretty newly built dry toilet and a garbage bin. Not a bad place to spend the night.
