August 2024: There's a large hornets' nest in the hut. Therefore, it's unusable. The fire pit next door is. Otherwise, use the hut about 1.2 km after/before. It's more spacious/nice anyway.

In addition to a "classic" shelter, this spot features a kind of kitchen hut with a stove. The place is/was quite well equipped with tools for chopping firewood and is located right by the lake. A very cool spot.

I spent two nights at Lake Glycksjön and had the lake to myself for two whole days. It’s a dreamlike spot. The cabin is a bit leaky, and when it rains, it can be tricky to find a spot where it doesn’t drip, but overall it’s a cozy little place with a fire pit both inside and outside the cabin. There’s also a small toilet hut.

A great B&B in a former school building, only one thing you can remember from the time it was a school, from ca 1930 to 1973; shoes off at the door. It takes some getting used to without shoes, but what a beautiful B&B with a wonderful view over the lake during breakfast!

Here you will find a large rest area with infrastructure. There are several tables, a barbecue area, a wind shelter and good access to the lake. But also a closed hut with bunk beds and a toilet house. Here you can spend the night very well, celebrate or just have a quick rest. However, since this place seems to be something of a dream place for many hikers (the guest book in the house has been lovingly filled out), please make a request here: Please make sure that this place remains as nice and clean as we found it in today.

If you can, stretch the previous day and spend a night here instead of Flat - camping site is way nicer and hut is definitely better then a shelter in an unpredictable Swedish weather

Nicely located and well-maintained camping site on a lake (so getting fresh water is not an issue).
