The share Agrituristica Prato Pozzo di Ravaglia Stefano, was born in 1990 going to renovate an old family farm. The name derives from the old farm existing before which was called "Prato del pozzo". Numerous modifications have been made both to the farmhouse and to the surrounding buildings; moreover, the agricultural part has also changed to give space to courtyard areas and spaces equipped for agri-camping and horse-riding tourism. Numerous services are made available to the Farmhouse. Just to list a few: Rooms Bungalow Picnic area Restaurant and Bar Children's games Stables Bikes Sport fishing Birdwatching Educational farm with nature trail within the farm of almost 2 km Space for tents/campers and caravans in an agri-campsite with 12 pitches served by electricity hot showers and drainage pit The landscape of the Valli di Comacchio around the Agriturismo offers unlimited horizons where the water melts into the misty seabed, intersected by thin curtains of vegetation. The gray of the willows and the yellow-green patches of the poplars dominate the band of foliage that emerges from the reed beds of marsh reeds. In the hedges there is a mosaic of shrubs that guard succulent berries for small migratory birds: the bluish ones of Dogwood and Privet, the orange ones of Sea Buckthorn and the red ones of Dog Rose and Hawthorn. In all this scenario, the birds are the masters who frequent these environments in every season of the year for the extraordinary wealth of food and shelters. It is the most important complex of Italian wetlands and migratory birds transiting from Northern to Southern Europe stop in these areas to reproduce or to spend the winter. For some years several hundred pink flamingos have been grazing by dipping their long necks and scouring the mud in search of shrimps. The winter white herons mix with the grays while the red herons arrive in summer. All this for our sight, but the Valli di Comacchio are also the realm of silence, of the tranquility of the open expanses, interrupted by the unmistakable calls of these winged inhabitants.
