The church's elongated brick hall was built in the 15th century and extended to the south in 1695. The neo-Gothic renovation in 1901 gave the church its present appearance, adding the west tower and south porch and replacing the windows. Remains of a medieval baptismal font and a holy water font can be seen in the east wall. The interior includes a Baroque pulpit altar from around 1700 with rich carvings, pews and galleries from the 18th century, and votive discs from 1599 from Stulpe Monastery. The organ with its neo-Gothic facade comes from the Völkner workshop in Dünnow.

Very well-kept small cemetery all around, but unfortunately, as is often the case, a closed church. The nicely laid out benches in front of the gate are unfortunately very dilapidated and are no longer suitable for sitting.

The church was built in 1861 in place of a previous building. The neo-Romanesque building made of neatly hewn fieldstone blocks has an east apse that is polygonal on the outside and round on the inside. The frames of the windows and doors as well as the two towering stepped gables are made of brick (Wikipedia).
