Very nice shelter and camping site, not far from the Geiser ferry port, including several fire pits and toilets. Protected from the wind by a few hedges. When I was there, however, it was very busy, but somehow quite nice. From the shore, you can see the ferries arriving and departing every hour.

4 shelters, 4 fireplaces and great access to the beach but poor mobile connection. I got woken up by mice running around the shelter and couldn't sleep so moved to Møn Camping which was a few kilometers from the Shelter place and I'm really glad that I did. I felt safer (as a female traveling alone).

This shelter and campsite is located directly on Holten Beach. A restroom is located near the parking lot, and drinking water is also available there. The "Gråsælen" shelter accommodates two to five people. Further information, availability, and registration can be found at: https://bookenshelter.dk/naturlandet/shelterplads/holtenstrand/

A few meters further back at the nature school there is also water and even an outside socket with electricity for the handey. In the summer season someone from the village comes by in the evening and collects money. It doesn't cost much and you can also pay in euros. Overall, absolutely great that there is such a place right here. Especially if you want to take the ferry in the morning or only arrive in the evening, that's great. There is also a grocery store in Gedser.
