However, this older building no longer existed at the beginning of the 20th century, which is why the new building in the neo-baroque style was built directly on top of the older core. Bantikow Castle is currently a privately run child and youth welfare facility.

Today there is a branch office of the registry office and a hotel in the building. The owner is extremely friendly and has invited me to also look at the back of the building and the adjacent park. Should not be missed, so plan a short detour off the path!
