The Morsbach Valley is truly a dream. After heavy rain, it looks like a miniature Canada.

"This pond, which has existed since at least 1575, was originally used for washing sheep. In 1830 it was designated as the only bathing area - initially only for men and boys. In 1877 a modest bathing and swimming facility was completed. From 1890 women were also allowed access. In 1927 a diving tower was even built. In 1959/60 the pool was replaced by a new outdoor pool at Kirchweihplatz. The area around the pond now serves as a municipal campsite." (Source: Wugwiki)

The Bechthaler Weiher is located in the idyllic Anlautertal below the castle ruins, approx. 300 m as the crow flies east of Bechthal. The Anlauter flows past on the south side. The water area is approximately 1.5 hectares and has an average depth of 2 meters. Wooden beams lead across the water for balancing purposes and immediately separate the non-swimmer and swimmer areas. Next to the pond there is a playground for children and it is possible to camp there after prior registration. https://www.naturpark-altmuehltal.de/freizeit/a-z/bechthaler_weiher-597/

The swimming stream was dammed up below the small town of Appenstetten to form an idyllic (bathing?) lake. You can walk all the way around it. The shore area has been mowed and, in addition to a large wooden platform, offers sunny and shady places to rest, but no benches. Quietly and idyllically situated on the rarely used connecting road between the villages of Schwimbach and Aue. I have found no evidence of private ownership and bathing ban.

From wugwiki.de: The pond was created in 1981 as a rainwater retention basin below the Aumühle. The Stadtbach, which is piped from here today, flows through the city and comes out again as the Brühlbach just before it flows into the [Schwäbische Rezat]. The Aumühle was first mentioned in 1250 (one of the oldest mentions of a Weißenburg building). Before the Aumühlweiher was created, there was an allotment garden here, which was moved to near the Hohenmühle. The pond is a popular ice rink in winter.
