The Waldspitze (Forest Point) in Böhlitz-Ehrenberg lies in the so-called "Lachen" (lakes), which were created by clay extraction. As part of the rewetting work in the floodplain, the Burgauenbach stream was created in the late 1990s to reconnect the Waldspitze to the water network. Over the years, this has resulted in a unique biotope that serves as a breeding ground for many bird species. Fantastic landscape...well worth a visit.

While in March the spring snowflakes transformed the park into a white carpet of flowers, currently the blossoms of anemones and wild garlic follow with another white sea of flowers. The water accompanies the visitor and reflects the special beauty of the temples that emerge on islands or small elevations in the lush green of the park.
