The time of the monument's unveiling was calculated by a clock monitored by the Astrogeodynamic Observatory in Borówiec near Kórnik, part of the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences. It thus became the first monument on Earth to be unveiled in the third millennium.
